Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held at the Kent and Surrey Golf and Country Club, Edenbridge Date to be confirmed


All members of the Society are entitled to vote on each issue. Members are required to bring their Membership book to act as a voting card. Votes cast without a visible Membership card will not be counted.
If the voting is tied the Chairman shall have a second and casting vote.

All Officers of the Society are elected Annually.
Members of the Committee are elected for a 3-year term.
Nominations for election to the committee must be received in writing by the Secretary 14 days prior to the date of the A.G.M.
The nominee must have a proposer and be seconded and all names, ad- dresses and telephone numbers must be provided on the application. Proposals for rule changes must be received in writing 14 days prior to the date of the A.G.M.
All proposals must have be seconded and all names, addresses and tele- phone numbers must be provided with the proposal.
Any vote taken on the proposal if carried will be referred to the committee for further consideration during normal committee time.
The committee will announce the decision of the proposal at the next A.G.M. or at an Extraordinary General Meeting or by the newsletter or web- site as appropriate.

Monthly committee meetings are held at the headquarters on the first Tuesday of each month at the Royal British Legion, Edenbridge.
